Global Systems Technologies, Inc. (GST) a prime federal contractor for the Transportation Security Administration, is seeking candidates in the Crystal City/ Arlington, VA, area.
We are building a team to assist the TSA in developing a major MBSE centralized environment for systems modeling and analysis. This is a unique, new initiative for GST that offers candidates the opportunity to have a direct and lasting impact with the customer as they implement this new tool. We are looking for multiple candidates at various levels of experience, who can reliably commute to Crystal City, VA. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance - preference for active clearance.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide expert support for requirements development and management as well as modeling systems support. As DHS has matured the criteria for requirements through the Joint Requirements Council, TSA has implemented MBSE RM and SOS Modeling to promote an efficient and accurate approach for requirements analysis, development, and management. MBSE RM Support: The candidate shall utilize the Cameo Systems Modeler to model, digitize, export, and manage TSA’s capability and program requirements baseline through the acquisition lifecycle framework (ALF) and systems engineering life cycle (SELC). The candidate shall:
- Identify and prioritize DHS AD-102 requirement artifacts and insights for inclusion into the TSA MBSE tool (Cameo Systems Modeler).
- Leverage native model-based capabilities and develop bespoke reporting capabilities for artifact export, requirement traceability, and additional AD-102 insights with the TSA MBSE tool.
- Support socialization, utilization, and training support for users as required.
System of Systems Modeling Support; The candidate shall: utilize, maintain and expand TSA’s SoS models, ProModel based model; initiate SoS scenarios and use cases to inform operational decisions and inform requirements development, as well as provide recommendations and insight by modelling “what-if” scenarios. The candidate shall also perform data management and data dashboard population and management and establish robust data views. The candidate shall support 3rd party Verification and Validation for TSA SoS models.
RequirementsMultiple positions available from mid-level to Lead.
Required Qualifications:
- MBSE experience, applied engineering, solid overall engineering understanding, CM, solid/thorough understanding of version control.
- Minimum Bachelors - BS or MS degree in Science or Engineering
- Experience with some kind of MBSE tools or related software; i.e. MagicDraw, Cameo, ProModel, etc
- Multiple positions available ranging in minimum years of experience from 10-15+ years, preferably where MBSE was your primary responsibility.
- Proven work experience with UML or SysML (SysML required, both preferred), systems engineering exposure and understanding
- Clearance: Secret Level Clearance will be required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Rational Rose, DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System), or any of their extensions, or competing vendors tools.
