Modem SE for 4/5G L1/AS/NAS engineering
Job Description•Analyzing and narrow down modem issues, especially for 2G/3G/4G/5G 3GPP AS(L1/L2/RRC) protocol and RFSW firmware•Resolving modem protocol issues from customers and issue coordination between internal R&D resource and global customer•Review and evaluation customer, operator requirement based on legacy design•Technical support for customer engineering with terminal device customer, MNO (Mobile Network Operator) as new requirement, issue coordination, workshop and internal new feature design•Analyzing and narrow down modem issues, especially for 4G/5G 3GPP NAS protocol and other upper layer operations.•Resolving modem protocol issues from manufacturers and coordinating with global R&D counterparts to address these problems.•Analyzing and coordinating tasks to implement manufacturer’s requirements.•Technical support for manufacturers, MNO (Mobile Network Operator).#LI-NOPOSTRequirement•Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer science or other related majors•The ability to understand 3GPP specifications and analyze and comprehend MNO’s (Mobile Network Operator’s) requirements•5 years or more of experience in modem protocol-related work in projects involving Smartphones, Telematics, or 3GPP modem technology•Capacity to analyze and program effectively in C/C++, Python Fluent English for internal/external communication•The ability to understand 3GPP specifications and analyze and comprehend MNO’s (Mobile Network Operator’s) requirements.•Preference given to candidates with experience in SIM/USIM operations.•5 years or more of experience in modem protocol-related work in projects involving Smartphones, Telematics, or modem technology.•Capacity to analyze and program effectively in C/C++, Python•Capacity to communicate in English (email/messenger/meeting)
