About the role The Engineering support role is an essential part of the sales and operations team, providing valuable assistance to ensuring the smooth functioning of engineered sales and operational function. Engineering support professional will focus on streamlining technical requirements, improving customer experiences, and freeing up sales representatives' time to focus on strategic selling, and supporting the overall sales process from a technical approach.This role combines knowledge of HVAC systems with a strong focus to effectively identify energy solutions and decarbonization roadmaps to assist in closing deals. This is crucial role in ensuring accurate assessment of the project design intent, energy calculations and technical advisory to internal and external clients. Furthermore, the Modernization Engineer support person maintains a direct reporting line to the Life Cycle Solutions Manager with a dotted line to the segment business managers, ensuring smooth coordination and communication between customer segments. Overall, the role demands a highly capable individual who can lead and drive success through effective team communications, comprehensive engineering knowledge, and sales engagement.Key Responsibilities:Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings during tender stage.Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify improvements in solution offerings.Assist to prepare competitive quotations and proposals to secure new deals.Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to energy-efficient HVAC solutions.Ensure profitability of projects by considering cost factors in the design strategies.Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales service.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports for project interactions.Provide regular reports and updates to management on progress and achievements.Maintain a dotted reporting line to the business line Managers for effective coordination and communication between customer segments.We are looking for people who are innovative.
