Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide preventative maintenance experience and knowledge, as well as maintain, modify, and install machinery to a planned maintenance programme. 



Responsibilities



Responsible for supporting all engineering breakdowns, diagnosing faults as soon as possible and replacement of parts.



Provide preventative maintenance expertise, in helping to develop a new & evolving planned maintenance programme.



Daily routine maintenance activities.



Rectifying all electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.



Enhancing, repairing, and maintaining all the plant equipment and plant services within the manufacturing facility as per the preventative maintenance schedule and updating the maintenance log.



Installation and commission of new machinery and equipment projects.



Continuous improvement projects during planned downtime and identifying engineering solutions to maximise efficiency of the plant.



Requesting spares / consumables required to support the engineering activities to be undertaken.



Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results.



Ability to work alone and within a small team of engineers.



The Successful candidate will have the following



Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance role



Plant maintenance experience with exposure to pneumatic, electronic and mechanical systems



Positive attitude



Pro-active & self-started



Good communication skills



Ideally experienced in a manufacturing environment



Multi Skilled with good electrical skills



Fault finding electrical installations and machinery



Electrical / Mechanical engineering qualifications
