Role: Multi Skilled Engineer\n\nRecruiter: Alaska Black\n\nLocation: Greater Manchester\n\nSalary: £50,000\n\nContract: Permanent, Double Days, Friday – Monday\n\nThe company\n\nOur client, one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers based in the Greater Manchester supply premium quality products to major retailers and premium food service providers.\nOur clients’ products are synonymous with great taste, exciting innovation and value.\nTo continue to build upon their quality food safety vision they seek to recruit a hardworking, positive, and enquiring individual who will challenge the norm to continually improve.\n\nThe role\n\nBased at our clients brand new state of the art site in Greater Manchester, reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will take responsibility for engineering repair, corrective and planned preventative maintenance of the site.\n\nYou will be expected to react to the workload required to meet the day-to-day engineering tasks and activities required to ensure line performance is at its maximum with the guidance of the engineering manager.\n\nThe Engineer role will provide key operational support to the Engineering Manager to deliver performance and engineering KPI’s. You will be expected to escalate breakdowns in a timely manner and inform all stakeholders of the completion of work on any escalated incident.
