Multskilled Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a very established and successful heavy industry manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer.
The successful candidate will work at our client's busy manufacturing plant near Harlow.
The Multiskilled maintenance engineer will join the busy maintenance team to perform electrical & mechanical maintenance activities in a highly automated heavy industry production environment.

The Role:
\n
Reporting to the engineering manger you will be required to undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities on a wide range of plant, machinery and site facilities.
You duties will include but is not limited to the following;
\n
- \n
- Mechanical & electrical maintenance / repair of a wide range of machinery including conveyors, robots, ovens, heavy presses, cutting equipment, screens and more
- Maintenance and repair of hydraulic & pneumatic machinery
- Assist with electrical installations, upgrades etc etc
- Electrical fault find and repair motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays etc etc
- Plc fault find and repair
- Site facilities maintenance
- PPM

Candidate:
\n
The successful candidate will be a competent maintenance engineer with good electrical and mechanical fault find and repair skills.
\n
You will hold formal mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications e.g. 17th /18th Edition certification or NVQ level 3 or HND/HNC.
\n
Previous work experience in heavy industry production environment such as foundry, recycling or quarry and aggregates sectors would be an advantage however all applicants with necessary skills will be considered.

Hours of work:
\n
Monday to Friday 40 hours + OT
\n
