NDE Inspector Level A (nuclear industry)

INSPECTOR LEVEL A (nuclear industry) (hourly rate of pay $39.93) We have opportunities for you to join our production team as an Inspector Level A (nuclear industry) at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. Primary Function: To perform all tasks of a NDE Inspector A and to conduct non-destructive examinations. Tasks: Perform NDE based on certifications in all areas of the Shop. Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures. Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation. Demonstrate good workmanship and practices. Communicate effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, Project Management, Engineering) as well as customer representatives. Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations. Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations. Qualifications: Proven commitment to workplace safety. Must possess ONE (1) of the following: CEDO UT CGSB-1 RT CGSB-1 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd.; 5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT Canada Ltd.; Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2). Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry. Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations. Proficient with computer software. Must be available to work any of the following shifts : Days: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Mon – Thurs) Nights: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs) Weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun – 33 hrs paid 40 hrs) Days: 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.
