We use a whole range of non-destructive and destructive testing methods, both on site and at our labs.\n\nWhat will you be doing?
\n\nAs an NDT Engineer for BES Testing, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of NDT inspections to ensure compliance with statutory and/or legislative requirements. The successful candidate will join the Newcastle team of our customer, who develops and manufactures subsea equipment. \n\nYou will: \n\nCarry out and tests and inspections in line with client requirements and in alignment with company policies and procedures\n\nInterpret and evaluate test results\n\nCarry out all relevant equipment checks and calibrations\n\nWork to international standards ensuring requirements within them are met\n\nCollecting, collating and reporting with sketches, where applicable, the result of the NDT examination\n\nPresent reports containing all relevant information in a factual, comprehensive and unambiguous manner\n\nMaintain all records as per specific client contract\n\nUtilise different pieces of technology and software to carry out reports and other documentation\n\nAs part of our team, you will get: \n\nA basic of £17 per hour based on a 40 hour week\n\nBut with shift uplift, you can earn £48,500 per annum\n\nShift pattern is Mon – Fri, 40 hours per week, and will be a rotating pattern of days, lates and nights\n\nNo weekend or bank holiday work unless requested, which would then be at an attractive overtime rate\n\nPension contribution\n\n28 days per annum plus 8 public/bank holidays\n\nElectric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme \n\nDiscounts and savings via our employee benefits portal\n\nHealth and wellbeing support via our Employee Assistance Programme\n\nCompany wide volunteering scheme\n\nFundraising support for your chosen charity\n\nTo be join our team, you will need: \n\nA combination of some of the following; PCN Level 2 in Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Visual Inspection and/or Eddy Current.\n\nIT Skills for report writing (training will be provided for specific systems)\n\nGood communication skills\n\nWe want you to be you! \nOur focus on , equality and is here to stay.
