This is why we are looking for you.If you are an Experienced Associate problem solver with motivation to learn, someone willing to collaborate with different teams across PwC Greece, a good communicator with high emotional intelligence and someone willing to take ownership beyond the obvious, then you are the one!If you are committed to excellence in client service and passionate about how technology could be an enabler in our digital world, then you are the one!Due to the continued growth, we are looking for a Net Zero Specialist who will join the team working in our offices in Athens or in one of our Satellite Offices in Thessaloniki, Patras, Ioannina & Rhodes!The Net Zero Specialist shall support the Procurement team on one hand and the Net Zero Deputy Leader and Corporate Sustainability team on the other hand in the context of achieving net zero carbon emissions. This role involves managing sustainable procurement initiatives, tracking carbon footprint reduction efforts, preparing data for reporting on GHG emissions and ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations, as well as, to monitor actions, plans and emissions on the other hand. Key Responsibilities - for ProcurementDevelop and maintain a comprehensive carbon footprint tracking system for the procurement department.Collect, analyze, and report data (invoices, expense claims, reconciliation and Accounting department adjustments) on emissions associated with procurement activities.Identify areas for emissions reduction and work with stakeholders to implement strategies.Stay informed about changes in the global net zero guidelines and familiarise with material available in the net zero sharepoint site and advise on necessary adjustments.Ensure procurement activities comply with global net zero team guidelines.Collaborate with the global and local net zero team to manage related documentation and guidelines. sustainability data to track progress toward net zero goals.Prepare regular reports on metrics, emissions reductions, and procurement impact.Handle procurement of carbon offsets and EACs.Report to IPD head and local net zero team.Key Responsibilities - for the Net Zero Deputy Leader and Corporate Sustainability team:Summarise actions from the 3-year plan and follow up with involved parties on an ongoing basis.Organise and lead regular (ie monthly) meetings with the net zero broad team and follow up actions,Set up and/or maintain the documentation necessary for the proper governance and accountability of the project, currently recorded in the net zero manual, under issuance.Oversee monitoring of estimates made and follow up with responsible party (eg conversion rate of taxi € to Km)Oversee the smooth operation and constant improvement of the existing mechanism set up for monitoring air travel emissions (Alteryx - PowerBI), in cooperation with Transformation team Coordinate expansion of the tool for monitoring all travel related emissions.Make all necessary projections and update the plans - also estimate and monitor offsetsAssist in reporting.Assist in net zero awareness campaigns and environmental activities.What we are looking for1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in consulting firm/other organisationA degree in Economics, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, ESG and/or environmental studiesExcellent command (writing and verbal) in Greek and English languagesExcellent knowledge of MS Office applicationsFast learner with business acumen, commercial awareness and analytical thinkingOrganisational, time management skills, flexibility and ability to adapt easily and multitaskMilitary obligations fulfilledWhat’s in it for youAt PwC is all about people, encouraging high performance and quality work.Being part of our team includes: Hybrid working model Competitive total compensation package Health and life insurance Dress for the day - wear what makes you feel comfortable and dress for your day Company mobile phone and laptop Extra days of annual leave Wellness Initiatives like gym sessions & nutritionist ♂️ Actions Teams eligible to participate (e.g. Running, Trekking) Career development opportunities & continuous training whilst learning from a wide range of top professionals and through tailor made training programmes Global mobility opportunitiesPlease note that all well being benefits mentioned above are subject to annual review.
