Location: Gloucester (Hyrbid Working + Client Visits)



Salary: Up to £55,000

About the Role

You’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies, designing, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure that powers high-performing networks. From next- firewalls and secure cloud solutions to advanced wired and wireless networks, this role is ideal for someone with a passion for technical problem-solving and a consultative approach to client engagement.



What You’ll Be Doing

Configuring and troubleshooting 2nd/3rd line networks, firewalls, and Windows Servers.

Designing tailored IT solutions and delivering seamless on-site and remote projects.



*



Supporting IT teams with advanced technical expertise, from safeguarding to network enhancements.



*



Conducting technical assessments and producing clear, actionable reports.



*



Representing our team as a trusted advisor at client and industry events.



*



Collaborating to build technical roadmaps and driving continuous improvement.



What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:



*



Proven experience with networking principles like DNS, DHCP, IP subnetting, and routing.



*



Hands-on expertise with Fortinet (NSE4 or equivalent), Aruba networking, and Microsoft Intune.



*



A passion for creating and delivering IT solutions that inspire confidence and exceed expectations.



*



Exceptional communication and documentation skills.



*



The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.



What Sets You Apart

Experience in educational IT services or working with independent schools.



*



Familiarity with Securly, Barracuda Email Protection, or VMware/Hyper-V technologies.

Strong knowledge of backup solutions like Veeam and advanced threat protection tools.
