Network Project Engineer, Project Leadership

As a Network Project Engineer , this role will be stationed at the customer's office, working under the supervision and guidance of the customer team. The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager (PM) of the NCS team and collaborate with other NCS members who are seconded to the customer for a specific project. What will you do? Participate in technical activities such as: Architectural Security Review (ASR) and Remediation of Penetration Test (PT) findings. Audits (IM8, Cybersecurity, etc) Conduct Threat Risk Assessments (TRA). Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and polls from relevant customer staff. Privileged Account Management: Perform monthly reviews of privileged accounts to ensure compliance and security. Waivers and Exceptions: Raise waivers and manage exceptions related to IM8, Cybersecurity Code of Practice, Circulars, and other regulations. Monitoring of systems’ health to ensure devices are running as expected in terms of performance and security. Generation of Monthly Reports Serve as the Technical Support expert and capable of handling escalations, incidents, outages and infrastructure challenges. Develop & maintain technical and configurations documentation Plan, manage and execute hardware and/or firmware upgrades of devices Perform device hardening checks, ensuring systems are configured and patched as per security standards Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Support Level 1 Engineers during problem determination and resolution whenever necessary. Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines. Maintains systems inventory and to alert stakeholders if there are any devices reaching obsolescence Willing to do 24 X 7 standby Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the project and customer needs. The ideal candidate should possess: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering / Information Technology, or the related field. At-least 4 years working experience in IT Support, Network, Systems, Cyber Security type function.
