New Grad Engineer I . Limited to Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering education please.
This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.
Your Day-to-Day:
Participate in US and international project assignments within the nuclear licensing discipline
Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
Develop expertise in US and international nuclear regulations
Create licensing and technical submittals for US and international utilities and nuclear regulators
Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants
Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with other Westinghouse engineers and our customers
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
2024/2025 new graduate w/ a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering; Other Engineering disciplines will Not be considered for this position.
Teamwork oriented and have high interpersonal skills
Eager to learn US and International regulatory processes for nuclear power plants
Considering a career in the nuclear power industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
