NICEIC Compliance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated NICEIC Compliance Manager to join our team and ensure our continued compliance with all NICEIC regulations and standards.



Job Overview:



Reporting to the Electrical Services Director, The NICEIC Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of NICEIC compliance within the company. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical regulations and standards, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. The Compliance Manager will work closely with our electrical teams to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with NICEIC requirements.



Key Responsibilities:



Compliance Management:



* Ensure all electrical work is compliant with NICEIC regulations and standards.



* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NICEIC requirements and industry standards.



* Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.



Training and Development:



* Provide training and guidance to electricians and apprentices on NICEIC standards.



* Organise regular training sessions and workshops to keep staff informed of regulatory changes.



Audits and Inspections:



* Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance.



* Prepare for and coordinate NICEIC assessments and inspections.



* Address any non-compliance issues identified during audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions as necessary.



Documentation and Reporting:



* Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities, including audits, inspections, and training sessions.



* Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and issues for senior management.



* Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted to NICEIC in a timely manner.



Liaison and Communication:



* Act as the primary point of contact between the company and NICEIC assessors.



* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies regarding compliance issues.



* Provide support and advice to project teams on compliance-related matters.



Qualifications:



* Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance, with a strong understanding of NICEIC standards.



* Minimum requirement of ECS Gold card



* 2391 test & inspect or equivalent



* Qualification in the 18th edition electrical regulations (BS 7671) and knowledge of Health & Safety standards.



* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.



* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits.



* Formal ISO 9001 Internal auditor qualifications would be desirable



* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.



* Proficiency in using compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.



Working Conditions:



* Full-time position.



* Combination of office and field work, including site visits and inspections.



* Some travel may be required for training and assessments.
