Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift)

Location: Coalville

Salary: £46,000 starting wage rising to £49,000 after 6 months of successful employment

Shift: 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM, 5 days per week Monday to Friday with No weekends.

The role:

We have a new opportunity to join a leading packaging manufacturing facility in Coalville as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to work in a clean, well-maintained environment with reliable machinery and a structured PPM system in place.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct planned and reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency

Work closely with production teams to enhance equipment reliability and preempt potential issues

Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, using insights to implement long-term solutions

Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies at all times



What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical maintenance discipline



Experience: Previous maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG )

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach



A team player with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence
