Task Description: Supervision and Safety: Oversee all night shift operations on the rig, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. Immediately stop any unsafe practices and implement safe procedures to maintain cost efficiency. Promote a safe working environment, preventing harm to personnel and the environment. Leadership and HSE Compliance: Lead by example, taking personal responsibility for implementing the Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS). Address safety and quality issues promptly, ensuring clear communication with line management. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, and encourage the team to take necessary safety precautions. Adhere to the Waste Management Plan and ensure correct use of the Permit to Work system. Safety Participation: Actively lead and participate in safety discussions, drills, and inspections. Operational Planning and Execution: Ensure drilling crew is well-informed about well programs and schedules, providing clear written instructions. Offer technical advice on operations and seek support or information when needed. Manage resources, equipment, and personnel effectively to minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT). Maintenance and Inspection: Ensure all rig equipment is maintained and inspected regularly as per the Preventive Maintenance System. Team Management: Foster a motivated, disciplined, and productive workforce by being a good listener and providing regular feedback.
