Nuclear and Radiation Clinic - Team Lead

Description A Radiology diagnostic imaging client is hiring a Team Lead for their Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Department. They are looking for a skilled team lead someone to lead their Nuclear Medicine Department.As working supervisor of the Nuclear Medicine team, the technologist will perform general Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. The technologist must be patient focused and capable of performing high quality nuclear medicine procedures independently and proficiently, in accordance with CMRITO Standards of Practice, radiation safety principles and products.As the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), the successful candidate will supervise and manage all aspects of radiation safety program and act as the primary contact for The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).The successful candidate will directly manage the Nuclear Medicine team, coordinate the Nuclear Medicine operations, and assist to grow and lead the expansion of the Nuclear Medicine department. As part of the leadership team they will act as the site manager for their Innisfil Clinic. They will be managing a Nuclear Medicine team of three Nuclear Medicine Technologists. Requirements Requirements: Active registration with the CMRIT in Nuclear Medicine requiredRegistration with CAMRT/OAMRS preferredMinimum 2 years or clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine preferredActive Professional Liability InsuranceSatisfactory criminal record checkCertified as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), or willing to obtain with the next 6 monthsCurrent Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate preferredCapable leadership skillsAbility to communicate with a high level of professionalism in interpersonal relationsStrong organizational skills with ability to prioritize; work under pressure and show flexibilityMust have strong independent decision-making skills with a high level of initiate eDiscretion and maturity in handling confidential mattersDemonstrated computer knowledge and proficiency with PACS.
