Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Project Manager to oversee and manage nuclear projects from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The Nuclear Project Manager will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of nuclear projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Scope Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage changes to the project scope and oversee impact assessments.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting timelines as necessary to meet project milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards for safety and quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to guarantee project deliverables meet defined standards and specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of project progress, changes, and decisions, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree ).
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in managing nuclear projects, with a deep understanding of nuclear operations and safety protocols.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and standards (e.g., NRC, ANSI).

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
