This establishment underscores our dedication to innovation and engineering excellence, bolstering our position in the dynamic GCC market.For our office in Dubai, we are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Officer - (UAE National).The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of both national and international health and safety regulations, a proven track record in promoting safe work practices, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks related to employee health, safety, and welfare. They will also ensure strict compliance with UAE occupational health and safety laws and uphold all relevant company-specific policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Implement and enforce local health and safety regulations and company-specific safety protocols.Stay updated on UAE labor laws and international safety standards, ensuring compliance.Assist in conducting risk assessments and audits to identify hazards in the workplace.Develop and update health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with regulations.Conduct regular safety drills (fire, emergency evacuation, first-aid) and training sessions to enhance staff awareness.Promote safety culture across the organization by encouraging safe work practices and behaviors.Investigate accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to identify causes and implement corrective actions.Ensure proper documentation of incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports for management.Track safety performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.Monitor the environmental impact of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations.Promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices within the organization.Requirements:2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field is preferred.Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.Must be a UAE National.We Offer:Opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking, synergistic, and innovative team.Exposure to cutting-edge projects driving Middle East / North African regions development.Personalized professional growth and developmental avenues tailored to your career aspirations.If you would like to join our highly motivated and very successful team, please send us your complete application! #J-18808-Ljbffr
