Job Description: Offshore Wind Contract Engineer
Location: Paris, France
Contract Duration: 12 months

Roles and Responsibilities:
Market Consultation and Negotiation of Fabrication Contracts:
- Prepare tender deliverables for offshore foundations/structures.
- Administer and execute calls for tender.
- Qualify suppliers and assess their suitability.
- Negotiate contractual terms, conditions, and variations in agreements.
- Present outcomes and recommendations to management.
Deliverables:
- Memos and presentations.
- Finalized and negotiated contracts, including agreements and exhibits for offshore wind foundation fabrication.
Support Procurement Strategy for Offshore Wind Foundations:
- Consolidate market intelligence specific to offshore wind foundation procurement.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive supplier intelligence database for foundation suppliers.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary workshops involving structural engineers, legal experts, and project engineers.
Deliverables:
- Market intelligence reports.
- Supplier analysis memos and presentations.
Contract Engineering and Coordination for Renewables Projects (Pre-FID Phase):
- Provide contract engineering expertise for various renewables projects.
- Develop and standardize CFTs (Calls for Tender) and contract templates.
Deliverables:
- Customized CFTs and templates for renewables projects.
Execution Approach:
- Manage activities with a project-oriented mindset, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost constraints, quality benchmarks, and sustainability/HSE standards.
- Operate effectively within an international and multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in EPC contract engineering and administration.
- Experience with offshore wind and renewable contracts is preferred.
- Familiarity with various contract templates such as NEC, BIMCO, and FIDIC.
