As an Oil Change Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, primarily focusing on oil changes and related services. You will work efficiently and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities:
- Oil Changes:
- Drain and replace engine oil according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Replace oil filters.
- Reset oil change reminder systems.
- Fluid Checks:
- Inspect and top off fluids, including coolant, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and transmission fluid.
- Vehicle Inspections:
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicles for potential issues, such as worn belts, hoses, or leaks.
- Check tire pressure and tread depth.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Explain services and answer questions clearly.
- Shop Maintenance:
- Keep the shop clean and organized.
- Dispose of waste materials properly.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as tire rotations, battery replacements, or light bulb replacements.
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
