Oil Change Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities
•\tDocument and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards
•\tDrain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters
•\tInspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary
•\tCheck tire pressure and add air if needed
•\tCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
•\tKeep shop area neat and clean
•\tMaintain accountability for all shop-owned tools and manuals
•\tOperate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
•\tPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
•\tCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
•\tProvide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Qualifications
•\tEagerness to improve
•\tEntry-level qualifications,
•\tStrong physical dexterity for working with tools
•\tCollaborates well with others in a team setting
•\tStrong communication skills
•\tPunctual and reliable
•\tPositive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
•\tEnjoy working in a fast paced environment
•\tWillingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
•\tValid driver's license and clean driving record
•\tAutomotive trade school or post secondary education is a plus!
