Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make initial contact with all customers and suggest services based on manufacturer recommendations.
- Responsible for enforcing Car Spa Policies and Procedures relating to your department.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and promptly resolve customer concerns and complaints.
- Ensure compliance with all government standards.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Maintain and inspect Lube Center equipment.
- Monitor and manage Lube Center inventory.
- Train all Lube Specialists according to the Car Spa certification process.
- Inspect and assess performance and skills of Lube Specialists.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed to maintain Lube Specialist standards and improve performance.
- Assist in scheduling Lube Center employees according to the staffing model.
- Manage payroll budget.
- Assist in achieving profitability goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Conduct physical inventory on a monthly basis.
- Maintain a positive relationship with suppliers.
- Perform all job responsibilities as outlined on the Lube Specialist job description.
Working Conditions:
- All work is done in service bay environment in all types of weather.
- Safety is a prime concern due to the constant traffic movement and potentially hazardous environment. You must be alert, move safely around moving vehicles, and use caution when performing lube center services.
- You are required to enter and/or reach all areas of any type vehicle. You must constantly bend, reach, stoop and stretch.
- Must follow company policy for wearing protective gear (i.e., safety goggles, bump cap, burn gloves, ear protection, etc.)
Qualifications:
Mandatory
- Must pass preliminary automotive exam provided by Car Spa
- Quick lube experience
- Customer service experience
Preferred
- Management experience
