The Oil Spill Combat Engineer will be responsible for implementing strategies to manage and mitigate oil spills, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols. Responsibilities Develop and execute response plans for oil spill incidents. Conduct environmental assessments and impact analysis related to oil spills. Coordinate and lead spill response teams during operations. Implement containment and cleanup procedures using appropriate technologies and equipment. Monitor and report on spill response effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement. Provide training and guidance to personnel involved in spill response. Collaborate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication during spill incidents. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil spill response and management. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, safety protocols, and best practices for spill response. Experience with oil spill response technologies and containment methods. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
