OMP Senior Consultant in Supply Chain and Operations
The opportunity We are looking for candidates who will join our polish Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) Team and help us drive business development for variety of global clients. SCO is a team in Business Consulting where we focus on 5 main pillars of supply chain Strategy (driving end-to-end supply chain optimization), Planning (advanced planning systems implementation), Procurement (sourcing optimization), Manufacturing (IWS application), Logistics (warehousing and transportation improvements). We work with Clients in chemical, paper and packaging, food, FMCG, and other industries. This opportunity gives you a chance to join our Planning team. As part of your first project you will support and co-lead project delivery team at global manufacturing client in Europe and/or USA with OMP implementation of OPR, FCT and/or S&OP layers, as well as coach and support consultants and client stakeholders, perform analyses and report findings, and outcomes. You will utilize your experience with OMP while more in-depth technical knowledge will be a huge advantage. In EY we value and invest in our employees. Responsibilities: Participation in end-to-end transformational projects, in particular related to supply chain planning (but also other areas: Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain Strategy) Participation in projects related to OMP APS implementation (Advanced Planning and Scheduling-System) led in Agile methodology Serve as a subject matter expert for client with in-depth knowledge of the application Bring outside-in view and apply leading practices Coordinate and help colleagues from EY and/or client Drive and realize EY's unique OMP scenario-driven approach Translate business requirements into functional specifications resulting in user stories Support and coordinate preparation workshops across client’s business units and/or regions Support project successful deployment delivery (Fit-Gap analysis, Master Data/System setup, Training and Testing, Go Live and Support) Planning, execution and management of the work related to quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes Preparation and finalization of the project deliverables (reports, workshop materials, business proposals and many others) Project and wider program/framework management activities, such as: reviewing and keeping up to date project plans, actions and risk logs scheduling and leading project meetings (internal and external) documenting and following up on agreed actions Focused change management to support buy-in and stakeholder acceptance Support project conformity with regards to scope, cost, time, budget, and deliverables Participation in business development activities To qualify for the role, you must have: Higher education (min. Bachelor’s degree preferably in supply chain, IT, economics, finance or other relevant field) Min. 5+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain industry Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) 3+ years of experience in direct projects Functional understanding of supply chain processes, ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications of OMP, proficiency in OMP layers to analyze and identify potential gaps; and lead solution design Experience with implementation of at least one of OMP supply chain planning suite layers IS A MUST: OMP OPR/S&OP: Excellent knowledge of the OMP long-term planning and detailed scheduling configuration and processes. Required hands-on experience with configuration and fluent navigation. Clear understanding of OPR/S&OP integration with other OMP layers OMP FCT: Excellent knowledge of the OMP Forecasting configuration and processes. Required hands-on experience and fluent navigation. Clear understanding of FCT integration with other OMP layers OMP Integration: Excellent knowledge of OMP Integration, using Namespace and Advanced Download Configurator. Good understanding of SAP ECC data: Master & Transactional data from different SCOR areas.
