What do you get to do in this position? * Support the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System for the production area/lines (parametrization and setup for customer products) * Actively participate in design reviews for processes requiring MES deployment while giving on data collection and retention at each step * Lead develop and integration of system design software for Manufacturing Execution Systems * Define equipment required to achieve requirements of equipment specification * Plan and provide detailed training on system design, maintenance and troubleshooting to various customer skills to maintain system uptime * Support of existing system designs and production issues will be required both locally and at various sites globally * Drive definition of facility network, firewalls, cybersecurity and VPN requirements to support MES systems * Maintains up to date knowledge of technologies and utilizes this knowledge to specify and develop innovative solutions * Continuous improvement and process support including interaction between MES and ERP (or other local Systems) Qualifications We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.

This job might be for you if: * Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) * 3+ years of experience in a role in Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or Automation * Understanding of ERP, SAP systems and interfaces to MIS/MES systems Skills: * Extensive experience with C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, Oracle * Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL or MySQL) * MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET * Previous experience with MES or manufacturing area technologies (is a plus) Critical Behaviors: * Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) * Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural, virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg operations and others) * Proven ability to influence and convince through negotiation * Motivated self-starter, who able to work in parallel on multiple projects * Strong attention to detail * Facilitator to drive problem solving and troubleshooting activities * Work with minimal supervision Schneider Electric offers a robust benefits package to support our employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, a culture of wellness, and more great benefits above and beyond a typical employer.
