JOB SUMMARY:
Support Shimadzu Medical Systems, USA Texas Branch with daily operations including but not limited to equipment billing, parts billing, logistics, inventory, equipment install base service operations, Accounts receivable, and Accounts Payable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPOSNIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Operations Manager.

Back up the Parts Specialist in times of absence.

Record and post all sales activity on GP Dynamics ERP system based upon customer type and order type.

Open service work orders and follow through to completion and billing in a timely manner.

Ensure accuracy of billed parts serial numbers, item quantity and prices, customer account numbers, and delivery addresses, and sales tax.

Assist with Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable Collections.

Assist with daily parts receiving entry.

Assist with low stock levels and reorder with approval by the Operations Manager.

Support tracking and follow up on open warranty inventory returns, RMA Return Material Authorization, RTV Return to Vendor processes.

Internal stock bin and warehouse transfers are recorded and posted in a timely manner.

Assist with physical inventory counts.

Conduct and participate in special projects as assigned, ensuring completion within the required end date.

Assist with local and corporate Operations Department staff when needed.

Work closely with the Accounting and Operations dept. at Corporate office to maintain consistent billing accuracy to comply with company policies.

Assist Operations Manager and Corporate office on monthly end closing processes.

Support in audits related to Branch operations and Corporate operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Individual must be a high school graduate or equivalent

Accounting knowledge is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in business or administration a plus
-
7 or more years of experience in Operations or equivalent
-
5 or more years of experience in leading/managing an operations team
-
Intimate knowledge of medical device a plus
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
-
General knowledge and understanding of Operations, warehousing and distribution.

Intermediate understanding of Excel, MS Office and e-mail functions.

Must have strong computer knowledge to operate and maintain business data

Efficient knowledge of ERP and GP is a plus

Self-motivated, able to take direction and complete tasks with little supervision
-
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines in a fast paced and repetitive environment.

Must have great communication skills verbally and written.

Must have great organizational skills and can multi-tasks
-
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically is required
Must be in the office 5 days per week (no hybrid)
Pay range $25-30 hour depending on experience and education
