What You'll Do:
As an Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth execution of our moving operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Coordinating Client Moves: Booking and scheduling jobs with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Consultations & Estimations: Providing in-depth consultations with clients to ensure accurate estimates and seamless move planning, from local to long-distance relocations.
• Team Coordination: Managing the crew and foreman by inputting accurate job details into our crew app, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
• Ferry & Logistics Management: Organizing ferry schedules for truck transfers to and from Nantucket, as well as managing out-of-region logistics.
• Optimize Schedules: Creating smart, efficient schedules that keep operations running smoothly and meet customer expectations.
• Billing and Invoicing: Utilizing QuickBooks for timely and precise invoicing, keeping the financial side of things running smoothly.

Who You Are:
We’re looking for someone who:

• Has prior experience in operations management within the moving or logistics industry.
• Is a natural multitasker with strong organizational skills.
• Possesses excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Is tech-savvy, with experience using software like QuickBooks and Smart Moving.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and has great attention to detail.
