Arborist / Operations Manager Position at Sherlock Tree Company

Since 1974, Sherlock Tree Company has been delivering premier tree care services to a diverse clientele, including homeowners, residential developments, office and industrial parks, shopping centers, hotels, and resorts, and apartment complexes. We pride ourselves on our years of experience, a highly trained team, and our ISA Certified Arborists who supervise all activities, adhering to the highest arboricultural and sustainability standards and practices. As a TCIA Accredited company, we are rapidly growing and expanding to a third office, and we’re looking for a dedicated Arborist / Operations Manager to join our exceptional team.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage crews to ensure quality work and adherence to safety protocols and arboricultural standards.

- Meet with new clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.

- Sell new projects and services to customers, maintaining and growing our client base.

- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.

- Develop and implement plans to enhance operational processes and productivity.

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages team development and high performance.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to support organizational growth and expansion.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience in Arboriculture or a related field.

- ISA Certified Arborist Certification is highly .

- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the arboricultural industry.

- Strong knowledge of tree care standards, practices, and safety regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Sales experience and ability to build strong relationships and trust with clients.

- High level of proficiency in using office software and arboricultural management tools.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
