A Day in the Life

·Monitor and report on operational activities, staff and budget projections.

·Lead, manage, and support division staff in day-to-day strategic activities.

·Lead and delegate project distribution and manage Project Managers

·Collaborate in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures and attainment of operating goals.

·Represent company in new business opportunities through contact with individuals who are a critical part of new project opportunities. Secure follow-up work with existing clients based on past performance.

·Qualify bids and manage Estimating team

··Provide supervision, training, development, and performance management of direct reports including performance reviews.

·Ensure effective scheduling of all items/actions required to complete a project on time and on budget.

·Build and maintain relationships within industry leaders, associations and organizations.

·Project staffing needs. Interview, develop and retain high performing employees.

·Monthly management updates to assure projects are progressing as scheduled and within budget.    

·Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned 

What you Bring

·5+ years experience managing and growing Commercial Roofing line of Business

·Strong people skills including abilities to teach, coach and mentor

·B.S. degree in Business, Construction Management or related educational field preferred (experience in lieu of accepted) 

·Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems required

·Knowledge of sheet metal work is an asset
