Brightsmith is currently supporting a market-leading Hydrogen Technology company who are looking to bring an experienced Operations Manager to its growing Operations team.

As the client transitions from small-scale manufacturing to large-scale Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the way. As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of their organisation and production & manufacturing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing and optimizing internal processes to ensure a well-organized transition from prototype to manufacturing, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Oversee the supply chain, including procurement, storage, and warehouse operations; to guarantee a steady flow of materials and components needed for production.
• Manage facility resources and infrastructure, ensuring a safe and productive working environment for the team.
• Analyse current manufacturing and operational processes, identifying areas for improvements for increased productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align operations with R&D, ensuring a smooth integration of large-scale technologies into the manufacturing process.

You:

• Extensive experience as an Operations Manager in either the Hydrogen, Oil & Gas, Ammonia or Chemical manufacturing industry. With a successful track record of taking products from prototype to large-scale production.
• Strong expertise in process management, with the ability to analyse, optimise, and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
• In depth knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, storage and warehouse operations.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills, with a focus on efficient driven results.
• Great problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset to address challenges and continuous improvement.
• A high interest in being involved with cutting-edge Hydrogen Technology.
