AERMOR is seeking a highly skilled Operations Research (OR) Analyst to support the United States Government in operational testing and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess strong mathematical, statistical, and technical skills to assist in planning, executing, and reporting on Nuclear Command, Control, and Communication (NC3) and related systems/sub systems’ Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E). This role involves working closely with government stakeholders to deliver operationally realistic, mission-critical assessments across nuclear, cyber, and other complex threat environments.
Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in security by supporting the operational test and evaluation of NC3 systems.
- Leverage expertise in Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques to optimize test design and ensure robust data collection.
- Identify, develop, and/or apply analytical techniques, methodologies, and tools for testing and assessments.
- Design, plan, and execute comprehensive test plans– from establishing test objectives and conducting analyses to delivering insightful reports.
- Develop and implement innovative analytical methodologies, tools, and models to evaluate system performance against key metrics.
- Analyze test/assessment capabilities, identify requirements and shortfalls, perform trade-off analyses, and recommend solutions.
- Identify and analyze potential risks, limitations, and mitigation strategies throughout the testing process.
- Collaborate with the Test Director and a high-performing team to provide timely, high-quality analysis across all test phases and venues.
- Clearly communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to leadership through compelling reports and presentations.
- Responsible for updating data vocabularies and metadata catalogs, which allows data to be accessed, tagged and searched regardless of physical location, media, source, the owner or other defining characteristics.
- Structure data and information for specific purposes in a specific context for collaborative groups of users and manage databases for the storage, modification, and retrieval of information. This is information that may be used to produce reports, answer queries and record transactions.
- Analyze and submit test/assessment methodologies; test/assessment scenario descriptions; test/assessment demonstrations; test/assessment risk, limitation and mitigation strategies; and test/assessment readiness and support requirements needed to complete the test plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree
- Test and Evaluation Experience
- 6 years of experience in the field of Operations Research or similar analytical application
- Experience with Design of Experiments concepts and statistical principles
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
- TOP SECRET clearance with less than five years since the last investigation closed out. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain clearance and SCI clearances to perform the work. Candidates who already possess a TOP SECRET clearance are highly desired.
- Position requires practical application of one or more of the following: (1) Independently formulating and applying design of experiments, (2) Independently formulating and applying analytical tools, specifically: means, medians, percentiles, deviations, ANOVA, Generalized Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Multivariate Analysis, and Factor Analysis, (3) Independently creating automated analytical toolsets as necessary, (4) Academic and practical application of the verification, validation, and accreditation of modeling and simulation.
