This is a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator/Forklift driver. We have a 8 hour per day/afternoon Monday to Friday fortnightly rotating roster on offer in a cullet plant environment, located in the Gawler SA area. The role Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Plant Operator will be responsible for the day to day operation of the cullet plant, including machine operation and safe and efficient use of front-end loader and forklift. Operate cullet plant machinery Perform routine maintenance on machinery Attend breakdowns Record Keeping and Data Entry Using front end loader / forklift / truck to manage raw materials Receipt and management of raw materials Prepare finished product ready for transport Supervise small groups of contractors in a stand in situation Rotate between day and afternoon shift on a fortnightly basis. Day shift hours: 6am - 2pm Afternoon shift hours: 2pm - 10pm To apply you will need A strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills and flexibility to be trained in multiple tasks including machine operation and use of mobile plant. The successful candidates will have a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in to help the team achieve goals and ability to work autonomously. A valid Forklift licence (LO or LF) A valid Front End Loader licence (LL) MC or HR license is highly desirable but not required. Must be willing to undertake a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (on site training) A passion for safety and understanding of HSE practices Physically fit and able to do manual tasks Apply now Ready to apply?
