Outside Sales- Electrical/Industrial

EHC is currently looking for an Industrial Outside Sales Representative for a client located in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Develop oil & gas, petrochemical and manufacturing prospects and convert them into strong customer accounts
• To serve and grow existing accounts
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline for all developing opportunities in CRM
• Create sales material to present to customers
• Be the front line person for your accounts, providing clear and concise communication between the customer and the operations teams
• Be a solution provider by helping the customer identify and develop scope of work for unique and complex problems
• Manage expectations of the customer in order to deliver the most successful results possible every time
• Organize and plan customer meetings, presentations, workshops, and site visits
• Travel within region for customer meetings, site visits, sales meetings, industry events, training events
• Maintain a positive “can-do” problem-solving attitude

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in professional industrial sales
• Strong consultative sales approach
• Existing relationships in the Texas Gulf Coast industrial corridor, petrochemical, oil & gas and manufacturing
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with uncomfortable conversations and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present in one-on-one or group settings
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask while coordinating multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and co-workers
• Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Strong listening skills
• Strong self-initiative and hunter mentality with the ability to effectively work without direct supervision
• Ability to consistently promote a positive company image
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to think critically
• Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures
