Job Description:


  • Plans, coordinates and controls the execution of the project.
  • Ensures that all aspects of the project are developed and executed in accordance with the Contract provisions, the Client specifications, and our procedures and policies.
  • Supported by the Project Management Team, looks in depth at the contract’s elements, understand the contract provisions, Scope of Work (SoW).
  • Ensures the project team members have a clear scope and objectives assigned and that battery limits between the project functions have been defined.
  • Ensures, along all project phases, the correct allocation of the resources necessary for carrying out and completing the project.
  • Defines and organizes the utilization of the human resources, equipment, vessels, materials, subcontractors.
  • Monitor the progress of the project phases, in accordance with the scheduled duration, the HSE and quality objectives and the cost estimates.
  • Ensures all necessary project processes, management plans, procedures and tools are issued, implemented and applied to pilot the project towards successful HSE, quality and economical results.
  • Establishes, with the Project Control Manager, a budget; monitors the costs against the budget, identifies and implements remedial actions in case of overrun; reports to the Project Manager the results on regular basis.
  • Ensures during the execution phase, that Risks and Opportunities analysis is correctly managed by the Risk Engineer, guarantees the monthly updating of the risks register and guarantees that actions needed to manage risks opportunities are properly implemented for the project.
  • Approves the award and eventually supports the management of the Subcontractors during all the project phases to ensure the conformity of the work with the contract specifications.
  • Works toward the technical close-out of the project including provisional, final acceptance and handover to the Client of the facilities to be delivered.
  • Compile a project close-out report and a Lesson Learned containing all significant information for future use.



Context:



  • Project: As part of a related project and the existing one in CONGO (FPSO Project: Installation of an anchoring system for gas), following on from the installation of the inking system that we are in the process of deploying.
  • Contract: Based in Cassis, France. No travels required.



Requirements:



  • Engineering profile.
  • International experience.
  • 5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Marine works / Offshore Oil and Gas.
  • English required.
