Part-Time/ On- Call HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated Part-Time/on-call HVAC Service Technician. Desired candidates are highly motivated, innovative, skilled, disciplined, charismatic, have a can-do attitude, and maintain highly professional mannerisms even in the most challenging situations.

Individuals in this role will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and performing monthly/quarterly preventative maintenance and filter change-outs on commercial equipment.

We are looking for Technicians with the desired skills and a flexible schedule. Part-time, After-Hours Scheduled Maintenance and On-Call positions are available, with on-call weekend pay for all after-hours and weekend repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Travel to businesses as scheduled, including some out of state

· Perform consultations with customers

· Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods

· Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

· Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety

· Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity

· Conduct performance tests with specialized tools

· Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues

· Repair damaged HVAC systems

· Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources

HVAC Technician Requirements and Qualifications

· Previous on-the-job training a plus

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Critical thinker, problem-solver

· Must hold a state driver’s license

· Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations
