We are seeking an assistant who will become well-acquainted with a wide range of engineering-focused study abroad opportunities and communicate them to students through one-on-one conversations. Responsibilities in this role also include gathering and disseminating information to students and faculty via web pages, information sessions, promotional materials, and social media. Often this position is the first point of contact for students interested in study abroad and can have a significant impact on whether or not a student chooses to pursue a global experience.The successful candidate will also provide support to the Center for Global Engineering Engagement, help organize meetings and events, and work on a variety of projects as needed. Additionally, the International Experiences Assistant will interact with a team of undergraduate student Global Engineering Fellows who serve the college by meeting with interested students and giving presentations on international engineering opportunities.This is a part-time wage position, working Monday-Friday. The workload is expected to be approximately 20 hours per week. To be considered, candidates must submit a cover letter and resume.
