Parts/ Fleet Asset Management Specialist
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Parts/ Fleet Asset manager will be managing inventory, overseeing the parts department, ensuring adequate stock level are maintained to ensure the department is properly flowing to eliminate down time of the fleet. They will oversee and optimize all aspects of Arctic’s vehicle fleet, including, but not limited to, Scheduled maintenance, driver management, and compliance with regulations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
All duties are for “in House repairs and Maintenance” we are not a retail customer-based repair facility.

Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock of parts and supplies.

Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems.

Ordering new parts as needed.

Managing inventory turnover and minimizing stockouts.

Ensure adequate supplies of products and equipment

Participate in month end inventory reconciliation

Leverage and implement best practices driving continuous inventory improvements

Improve business results for all inventory-related criteria

Report timely communications to supervisor (shop foreman)/ operations manager on exceptions, changes to the facility/transport environment, problem resolution, and equipment/service needs; provide input to resolve capacity and service needs

Forecast what the department’s needs are to keep parts department well stocked and can see what may be projected for future projects.

Manage Repair load level in shop to maintain a smooth service turn around.

Perform other duties as assigned

Software Based Fleet/Asset management system to include review of daily entered issues and placing parts orders for item need to repair said units.

Creating invoices on parts/labor needed to repair said unit and forward to AR dept for billing

Daily Data entry
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

High School diploma or equivalent
-
One to Two years of work experience in Parts or Fleet Maintenance operations

Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Access, and Word; Fleetio

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Be motivated and have drive.

Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple demands

Strong analytical skills with attention to details

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional work ethic, energy, and drive

You should be proficient in:
- High School / GED
- Basic Computer Skills
