Pay Range $17-$24/hour with commission opportunities after initial training period

We are looking for a motivated individual to come join our growing team at the Campbell Supply Company where our goal is to drive success by providing exceptional service, quality products, and tailored solutions for the commercial and emergency vehicle industries. We are 2nd family-owned dealership with 7 locations and we've been in business since 1967

Position Summary: As a Front Counter/Will Call Parts Consultant at Campbell Supply Company, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts and product needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service at the front counter and handle will call orders efficiently and accurately. You will utilize your product knowledge and excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in person and over the phone, providing knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous service.
  • Parts Sales: Assist customers in identifying and selecting the right parts for their heavy-duty trucks, offering product recommendations and alternatives as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's product offerings, including features, specifications, and applications, in order to effectively assist customers and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot customer concerns related to parts and ensure timely resolution by collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Payment Handling: Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and maintain accurate records of sales transactions using the company's point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, service, and warehouse, to ensure seamless customer service and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in parts technology through training sessions, seminars, and self-study.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive parts or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or industrial parts environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including POS and CRM software.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and equipment as required.
