Pega QA Engineer

Role: PEGA QA Engineer
Location: Krakow Poland ( 1 day per week onsite) but remote alsoavailable
Duration: 6 Months Contract, with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute end-to-end testing for Pega applications, covering both automation and manual testing processes.

• Develop and maintain test plans, strategies, and test cases to ensure high-quality standards for Pega solutions.

• Manage and organize test artifacts, including documentation, for both automated and manual test processes.

• Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Jira for seamless automation workflows.

• Collaborate within an Agile environment, participating in sprints and contributing to project planning and continuous improvement.

• Analyse, prioritize, and report bugs effectively, utilizing bug tracking tools to communicate issues and track resolution.

• Conduct data and API testing, including SQL queries, Unix commands, Control-M scheduling, and ETL processes to validate data integrity.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium and Cucumber (BDD framework).

• Demonstrated ability to independently lead testing projects, including test planning, strategy formulation, and test management.

• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience in GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Jira.

• Strong experience in Agile methodologies and a track record of working on Agile projects.

• Skilled in bug tracking, prioritization, and reporting, with the ability to analyse issues and follow up on resolutions.

• Knowledge of SQL, Unix, Control-M, ETL, Data Testing, and API testing.

• Advanced proficiency in Jira and Zephyr for test management and tracking.
