We are a forward-thinking personal injury law firm based in California, committed to delivering outstanding results for our clients. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced personal injury attorney to join our team and help manage a growing caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Depositions:Conduct and defend depositions in personal injury matters with a focus on thorough preparation and effective questioning.
- Court Appearances:Represent clients in court for hearings, motions, and trials.
- Case Management:Handle a full case load, managing each case from intake through resolution with minimal supervision.
- Settlement Negotiations:Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel, striving for maximum recovery for clients.
- Legal Drafting:Draft and file complaints, motions, discovery, and other essential legal documents.
- Trial Preparation:Assist in trial preparation, including preparing witnesses, gathering evidence, and delivering arguments. Trial experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership with the California State Bar.
- Proven experience in personal injury law, including depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
- Strong legal drafting skills and the ability to handle discovery.
- Ability to independently manage a heavy caseload.
- Strong negotiation skills and a client-centered approach.
- Trial experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
