Seeking full time experienced Service Technician in the petroleum equipment industry.

M & M Service, Inc. / Mid-Valley Supply, a leader in the Petroleum Industry for over 30 years, is seeking Petroleum Service Technicians to join our team as we continue to provide excellent service in the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Wisconsin & Tennessee.

Petroleum Service Technicians must have a wide variety of skills and are expected to work through difficult problems. This position’s main duties will entail equipment installation, maintenance and repairs of: fuel dispensers, submersible fuel motors, service station site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles, tank and line monitoring equipment and various other types of equipment found in retail and commercial fueling facilities. Primary focus is on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems. Work rotation will include after-hours on-call duty. A significant portion of the work is conducted outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Install, maintain and repair petroleum equipment including fuel dispensers, fuel monitoring systems, submersible motors, and product piping.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic fuel communication systems, Point of Sale (POS) and payment processing equipment.
• Install new equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair of daily issues that arise during fueling operations.
• Manage and supervise small construction projects. Schedule subcontractors and order materials needed for projects.
• Conduct compliance inspections. Visually inspect entire fueling components and containments for liquid or potential problems.
• Review documentation at the store.
• Perform dispenser calibration.
• Provide customer service.

Petroleum Service Technicians are expected to provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectations by ensuring that all assigned duties are completed in a cost effective manner. Work must be conducted in a safe manner at all times for your benefit as well as to the benefit of M&M Service/Mid-Valley Supply and our customers. Understand and comply with applicable safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations. You will be required to obtain and maintain the necessary certifications from equipment manufacturers. Work with construction crew on projects, perform as or assist lead technician(s) with the start-up and commissioning of equipment. Maintain a positive attitude and strive to improve daily on newly acquired skills.

Petroleum Service Technicians are responsible for displaying conduct which reflects positively on the service department and M&M Service, Inc. as a whole, our customers, internal staff, and other technicians.

Job Requirements:

· Must have a valid Driver License, maintain a clean driving record

· Pass a DOT medical exam (company provided medical exam expenses)

· Maintain parts and inventory control, appearance and maintenance of service vehicle

· Complete necessary job ticket and administrative duties

· Have the ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

· Strong communication skills and customer relations skills

· Submit to drug testing

· Prior experience in the petroleum industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
