Piping Pressure Vessels & 3D Model Engineering Services

We are looking for Piping Pressure Vessels & 3D Model Engineering Services for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: June 2024

End date: August 2025

Location: Greater London area (TBA), UK

Status: Residential

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Professional Experience (years): 15+ years in Oil and Gas projects
• Experience in similar position (years): 10+ years at same or equivalent position with managerial responsibilities
• Level / Diploma: Engineer, or equivalent
• Languages: English mandatory, French is a plus
• Technical Knowledge : familiar with 3D CAD modelling softwares and tools ex PDMs, Naviworks

Activities

The service holder will be in charge to:

• supervise and coordinate the 3D Model engineering related activities performed by the Contractor
• assist the discipline Lead engineer in his/her activities;
• provide support and technical expertise and contribution with regards to his/her discipline, with particular focus on 3D model and piping stress/support studies
• Provide support to challenge the Contractor in the standardization and gap analysis exercise. Promote alternative design to optimize cost, footprint, work and schedule;
• Interface with HQ 3D Model SME to ensure the good quality of the 3D Model
• timely review and comment engineering documents and consolidate comments related to Piping, Pressure Vessels and 3D model deliverables; liaise with other engineering specialist(s), and entity (Operations,...) as required;
• ensure that the engineering activities related to the Piping , Pressure Vessels & 3D model matters are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations (PNGS calling Australian/new Zealand standards apply), Contextualized GS, with required level of quality, high HSE Standards, with respect of the Project highly sensitive environment, and within the agreed time schedule and cost;
• supervise the 3D model activities, participating and organizing the required Company team participation (Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Construction) to the 3D model reviews and ensuring proper implementation of the findings; involve in the Digital Twin set-up process
• while supervising the activities related to 3D model, ensure Plant constructability, operability, maintainability and flexibility that implies management and leadership towards other specialties and Project entities;
• liaise with the Project Data Manager to ensure proper digitalization of the technical data of the Project;
• support preparation and participate in Project Reviews, provide answers and ensure timely implementation of the findings in his/her discipline;
• assist the discipline Lead engineer to prepare the derogation requests to GS EP PVV , to respond to engineering clarifications, request for deviations and technical issues with regards to Piping, Pressure Vessels & 3D model discipline by a proactive and proficient approach
• perform studies leading to technical decision making and propose recommendation to the discipline Lead engineer
• Participate to the preparation of the documents for purchase, the bid evaluation and inspection
• Ensure adequate and timely reporting, highlighting critical issues to the discipline Lead engineer, proposing remedial actions
