Pivot Service Technician

Self-Starter, Timely, Problem solving Person, Duties include but not limited to, reading schematics to find problem with pivot, repair issue, installing cellular controlling systems, replace sprinklers, drivetrains, tower boxes and main panels and etc. Assist in measuring fields, light concrete work, etc. Need valid Drivers license

  • System management: Manage an inventory of spare and replacement parts.
  • System recommendations: Suggest watering schedules to customers to help minimize irrigation costs.
  • System response: Respond to questions and concerns from patrons, and identify and resolve problems.
  • System planning: Create plans to show customers.
  • System equipment: Operate vehicles and a variety of tools and equipment used in irrigation installation and maintenance.
  • System safety: Inspect tools and equipment for safety and mechanical defects.
  • Installation and maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for gardens and crops. This includes manual and automatic systems, as well as related equipment like controllers and wires.
  • System optimization: Retrofit older systems to improve water efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • System startup and winterization: Perform regular maintenance like spring startup and winterization.
  • System evaluation: Walk through the system to check for alignment, coverage, damage, and leaks.
  • System documentation: Provide detailed reports on systems and gather and update historical data about water sources.

They may also work at varying heights above ground.
