PK/PD Scientist
CK Group are recruiting for a PK/PD Scientist (Post-Doctoral) to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Bracknell on a contract basis for 12 months (potential to extend).
Salary:
£21.22-£26.52 p/h PAYE.
PK/ PD Scientist (Post-Doctoral) Role:
The role requires exceptional research and communication abilities to play an essential role in high-impact research endeavours spanning from discovery to advanced clinical development of Antibody Drug conjugates (ADC).
Establish the appropriate dose and regimen to achieve better therapeutic index and understand the preliminary dosing requirements.
Establish a comprehensive and flexible framework (Clinical Utility Index) for modelling ADC PKPD and the Exposure-Response relationship in both preclinical and clinical settings.
Develop a cellular mathematical model with a deep understanding of physiochemical properties, the range of affinities that are compatible with the target product profile for each ADC target, and the mechanism of action of ADC components (mAb, linker and payload and conjugated ADCs).
Your Background:
PhD in Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical/Biomedical Sciences, Computational Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience using relevant software such as R, Monolix, NONMEM, MATLAB, or similar.
Experience in QSP, PK/PD, exposure-response modeling or other modelling & simulation related discipline.
Understanding of pharmacokinetics and/or pharmacodynamic principles.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
