Position Summary: Our esteemed client is a leading mechanical Construction firm based in Qatar, specializing in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, and Utilities Industries solutions for the Oil & Gas Sectors. We are looking for a Planning Engineer who worked with a large EPC Company / Contractor as part of one of their team members. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive planning, forecasting, and budgeting systems Create and manage thorough, efficient planning, forecasting, and budgeting procedures. Developing and keeping up-to-date master schedules and project status reports for senior project management and client review. Preparing, updating and maintaining project control procedures and project planning packages for assigned projects. Integrating resources and costs into schedules for budgets, expenditure and resource analysis. Ensuring projects are executed within the contractual duration and allowed budgets and identify/issue potential variations to the Client. Examining and approving EPC contractors’, Subcontractors’, Vendors’ Project Control deliverables including project schedules, progress measurements system, reporting requirements, etc. Key Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering 15 years of experience in engineering, experience in Primavera P6, EPC, and construction compulsory. Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong experience in EPIC projects (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning). Experience in the application of Primavera P6.
