Planning Engineer

Job Description Job Title: Planning Engineer Location: Saudi Arabia Experience: 5-10 Years Salary: Depends upon experience Main Responsibilities: Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project. Prepare and analyze project progress reports, highlighting delays and proposing corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of projects. Establish work breakdown structures (WBS) and project timelines in alignment with client requirements. Monitor resource allocation, budget forecasts, and project cash flows. Identify critical paths, dependencies, and bottlenecks in project schedules. Assist in claims management, extension of time (EOT) analysis, and risk assessments. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide real-time scheduling adjustments. Ensure adherence to project specifications, contractual obligations, and industry best practices. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 5-10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects. Certification in Primavera P6 or relevant project management tools is an advantage. Skills Required: Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of project management methodologies and contract administration. Ability to analyze project risks and provide mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
