Parsons is looking for anamazingly talented Planning Engineer (Infrastructures)to join our team! In this role you will beresponsible for performing planning/scheduling activitiesrelated to Infrastructure projects .

What YoullBe Doing:

• Reviewand convey the Engineers consent to the Contractors Baselineschedule of works in line with Contract conditions and usingParsons RecommendedPractices

• Validation ofcompatibility of project resources for timely completion of theproject.

• Develop a MasterSchedule integrating multiple packages considering theirinterdependencies to identify and reflect the impact of oneschedule/project onothers.

• Evaluate &verify the planning and scheduling information from the updated /progress schedules. Identify the potential areas of delay/slippagehighlight the critical events & suggest mitigation measures/ correctiveactions.

• Exercise What ifanalysis to assess the time impact of each change variation andpotential event at an early stage and provide alternative coursesof action & advice before issuing instructions tocontractors.

• Prepare regularprogress reports / monthly reports with program analysis andrecommendations addressing program issues to ensure timely projectcompletion and preparing presentations regarding the works progressconcerning interim and majormilestones.

• Detailedassessment of the claims including Extension of Time Disruptionetc. using leading delay analysis methodologies including timeimpact analysis & window analysis with the strong skill todemonstrate the contractors concurrentdelay.

• Discuss coordinateand resolve the planning and scheduling problems with thecontractor and theEmployer.

• Coordination withthe Client to finalize the contractors programs reports andclaims.

• Attending variousmeetings including kickoff technical service coordination progressreview etc. providing valuable inputs and preparing concise& precise minutes ofmeetings.

• Preparation ofTrackers / Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design andConstruction stages of theProject.

• Agree on theprogress measurement system (PMS) and key indicators with theconsultants/contractors during the project for monitoringpurposes.

• Ability tocommunicate clearly to conduct presentations to management andinterface effectively with a diverse group of professionals.Provide the reasoned & analytic response to the contractornotices and detailed particulars using programming data soundconstruction practices and contractualprovisions.

• Proper recordkeeping of project contemporaryrecords.

• Issue delay noticesfor the contractors culpable delay and/or slow performance lettersrecording areas where the contractors performance is behind theschedule.

WhatRequired Skills Youll Bring:

• Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering orConstruction Management from a recognized university/institution.

• Minimum10 years of experience in planning and schedulingrelevant Infrastructure projects related roads utilitiesand bridges etc.

• Proficiency inscheduling software particularly P rimavera P6.

• Good written andoral communication skills inEnglish.

• Must haveEquivalency certificate issued by ministry of education inUAE
