Planning Manager - Assurance & Control

An increible opportunity has arisen for a professional Planning Manager to lead and develop a team of Planning Engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape project success and ensure the timely delivery of key milestones through expert planning and team leadership.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

• Lead a team of Planning Engineers, providing support, guidance, and mentoring in best practices related to planning, reporting, and governance processes.

\n

• Collaborate directly with Project Directors to develop comprehensive project plans across all phases, from inception to completion.

\n

• Coordinate planning resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

\n

• Establish timelines for the production of cost-loaded, deliverable programmes for project sanction.

\n

• Support Project Directors in achieving portfolio success by delivering consistent, value-driven project planning activities.

\n

\nKey Capabilities:\n

\n
• \nTeam Leadership & Line Management: Effectively guide and develop your team.

\n

• \nProject Planning Expertise: Experience with Primavera P6, NEC clauses, and compensation event analysis.

\n

• \nProgramme & Portfolio Management: Develop and manage programmes that align with the overall project goals.

\n

• \nClient Relationship Management: Ensure that client requirements are met and managed professionally.

\n

\nDesirable Skills:\n

\n
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.

\n

• Knowledge of NEC contractual clauses and cost management.

\n

• Certification such as APM or equivalent.

\n
