About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer / Plant Engineer with 7-15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, metals, industrial products, or plastics. This role is responsible for leading engineering projects, optimizing plant operations, and ensuring the efficient design, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage capital projects, process improvements, and plant modifications to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Design, implement, and oversee manufacturing systems, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Work closely with maintenance, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize plant operations.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to increase throughput and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for equipment upgrades and installations.
  • Provide technical support for equipment selection, automation integration, and process optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 7-15 years of engineering experience in industrial manufacturing, metals, industrial products, or plastics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is
  • Strong knowledge of plant operations, process improvement, and project management.
  • Experience with equipment design, automation, and industrial control systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and Lean Manufacturing principles is .
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
