This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
KBR is seeking a highly qualified Platform Integration Engineer to provide support to our customer that operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.
As a Platform Integration Engineer, you have the expertise and experience in developing and implementing applications on bare metal or cloud infrastructure, migrating applications and data from existing on-premises network and IT assets to the cloud, and debugging cloud stacks. Skills include data conversion, process design, architecture and application setup, and integrating software applications to the cloud. Tasks may include integrating and troubleshooting computer, information and software systems, including software and hardware components, synchronizing information and data systems ensuring interoperability between data sources, design, build, and maintaining workflows and tools for software engineering to drive consistency and speed up common tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of expertise and experience in developing and implementing applications on bare metal or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to migrate applications and data from existing on-premises network and IT assets to the cloud, and debugging cloud stacks.
- Skilled in data conversion, process design, architecture, and application setup, and integrating software applications to the cloud.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related quantitative science field
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field
- Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programs
- Experience with cloud development processes
- Experience with industry system engineering practices
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadership.
Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Basic Compensation: $114,600 - $171,900
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
